Since its creation, the company has never left the village of Awirs and remains very attached to its roots. The complex has obviously evolved significantly since 1934, undergoing a great many transformations and expansions. Today the firm occupies 2 buildings, each housing complementary activities: the manufacture of fat on one side of the rue des Awirs, and the logistics centre located across the road.

The factory houses all the production machines, most of the storage tanks and the main offices. The fleet of “packaging machines” is diversified to meet all the demands of our customers. We package our products in different volumes, in different formats, in different types of paper, under our brand or under private labels, etc. In short, a wide range of products tailored to the specific needs of each customer.

Our storage hall allows us to stock a wide range of products. In fact, the capacity of the storage hall is very important:: to achieve optimal crystallisation, it is essential that most of our margarines and fats respect a period of maturation. The duration and temperature of this “post-crystallisation” storage depend on the end use to be made by the customer.

Having completed the expansion of the storage halls and the construction of new loading docks for trucks in 1992 and 2000 successively, we now have the possibility of storing some 4,500 pallets. In addition, the volume we handle daily ensures the regular rotation of this stock. Besides storage, the hall is also the starting point for our fleet of trucks that deliver daily to our customers.
